I bought the Vibe Board to facilitate teaching physics to students in high school and college.
The board has been a powerful tool. I am guiding students through laboratory activities using the sensors on their smartphones. I start by using the smartboard as a traditional display. I then use it to screencast data that I am collecting on my phone (or a student’s phone) in real-time. The Vibe screen is very bright and allows much better visibility than the projectors in most classrooms. We can then annotate on the data we just collected and displayed on the Vibe board. This methodology has been extremely effective and I am so pleased with how easy it was to implement in the classroom.
